Hello, and welcome to Restaurant Jack’s – the grill restaurant in Spaubeek (Limburg) where flavour, atmosphere and hospitality come together.

My name is Tommy, and I’m your host.

From 2016 to 2020, I lived in Toronto, Canada, where I dedicated everything to my ice hockey career. When I realised that reaching the absolute top wasn’t within reach, I decided to focus on a new dream: combining my passion for food, people and hospitality.

At the end of 2021, at the age of 21, I had the opportunity to take over this restaurant in Spaubeek. Despite the lockdown, I saw it as the perfect moment to make my dream come true, creating a place with the warm, welcoming Canadian spirit that inspired me so much.

After a full renovation, we reopened Jack’s in 2022 with a brand-new concept:

grilling together at your own table, at your own pace, with a wide selection of meat, fish and vegetables.

An experience built on quality, comfort and connection.

Our Team – Passion, Taste & Craftsmanship

Since reopening, Jack’s has been strengthened by my good friend and Italian colleague Giosue “Jody” Sepe, together with our loyal front-of-house host since day one: “Magic” Maik.

As manager and chef, Jody designs our menu , from the herbs grown in our own garden for marinades to the finishing touch of our cocktails.

Together with his Thai wife, he prepares our delicious dishes, signature desserts, and leads our young, enthusiastic kitchen team with pride and joy.

Maik makes sure every guest feels welcome, offering genuine hospitality and great energy at every table.

The combination of Maik’s passion for service, Jody’s international culinary background (from Naples to Singapore and Bangkok), and my own Canadian restaurant experience brings Jack’s to a higher level.
